Club membership is the best use case of NFTs so far imo That’s why BAYC got me hooked from the start Here’s why: Membership is able to instantly show use of NFTs as access to something others won’t if they don’t have the NFT That includes airdrops, tickets, merch, perks, etc. BAYC was like… if you’re part of the club with a BAYC/MAYC NFT, you can: - access the bathroom - claim airdrops like BAKC, MAYC, $APE, deeds, etc - get tickets to ApeFest for free - access BAYC member only merch store - play access-locked games such as Apes vs. Mutants, Dookey Dash, etc It made NFTs so easy to understand as something more than just a jpeg This is why when there’s not much club perks being built for the club, it’s easy to lose the magic and see BAYC as just another jpeg PFP project But the reality is, it’s not just another jpeg. It’s a key to the club Ok, what’s the future of this club? Well, I know that Clubhouse in Miami is coming. That’s one. But I hope we also get more fun stuff that will help us feel happy to be part of the club. And it doesn’t have to be monetary. And it can be in @OthersideMeta. Remember apes went nuts for pinball machine and Honda Accord as top prizes in apes vs. mutants? 😂 If BAYC will hammer on making BAYC feel like a club again with access to cool and fun stuff, then it can show the world why BAYC is “the best club on the internet”
