⚡️ Just opened @pendle_fi found this naming update, great, it's getting better and better! Many novices are confused about PT's asset redemption mechanism, for example, they always think that PT-sUSDe is a 1:1 redemption of 1 sUSDe, but it is not. Now Pendle has added parentheses to the names of PT and YT, clearly pointing out that- 👉 1 PT-sUSDe (USDe), which means that this PT is generated based on sUSDe, but in the end, it is sUSDe worth 1 USDe that is redeemed 1:1, not 1 sUSDe. 👉 1 YT sUSDe (USDe) gets all interest-bearing income + points of 1 USDe before expiration. This small change is actually very important - Because there is an exchange rate between USDe and sUSDe, it is clear that it tracks the fixed value of the "settlement asset" in parentheses. For users who are used to understanding logic from the UI, this clear expression of the naming is the best education! Give @pendle_fi a thumbs up, keep picking out the details, and keep getting more DeFi-native friendly!
