In TradFi, the scale is staggering. US corporations have announced $983.6B in buybacks so far, with projections pointing to $1.1T by year-end.
Goldman notes that nearly 85% of companies are now in the open window, and August is pacing to be one of the busiest months on record.
While buybacks don’t always trigger immediate price retracements as seen with $Pump & $Jup at a combined –$18M they still influence relative market performance. A case in point: study $LINK versus its competitors, all at all-time lows.
