I've been active across multiple chains over the years. Made decent gains on some, lost on others. But I never felt locked in. No chain ever made me think I can't leave this. > When a new chain launches with better incentives, everyone moves > When yields dry up ➝ liquidity disappears > Berachain, Plasma are the perfect examples of it There's no real cost to switching it's just capital seeking the best return and yet, we value crypto networks like they have OG app level stickiness. We're all mercenaries. Moving wherever the action is. The networks that actually capture value longterm will be the ones where leaving actually costs you something. Where the connection matters, not just the yield. This is what @base has started to figure out and they're doing well and I'm expecting the same from @megaeth when it launches. This one's for the culture.
Crypto's users are valued 5×–50× higher than Meta’s with none of the monetization, retention, or network effects that would justify it. New post: 🔗 📉🧮
