I just used the ERC-7621 tech to create a “DeFi ETF” which is super cool, ticker $DEFI: It consists of: > $LINK > $ENS > $CRV > $SUSHI > $UNI > $AAVE > $LDO > & of-course $ALVA When more tokens become available for ERC-7621 then I can see this taking off as people can create narrative focused ETFs on: > DeFi > DeSci > DeFAI > Buybacks > Perps > Stablecoin protocols The list is really endless, or you could have a portfolio manager that updates the tokens as they’re going to try outperform BTC. Honestly, super impressed, it’s a blessing to be working with the @AlvaraProtocol team and getting a chance to make a “ETF”!
ETFs changed finance by bundling assets into one tradable wrapper. But they’ve always been curated by gatekeepers. ERC-7621 brings that model onchain, with all the benefits of DeFi. One token = one basket of assets. Built, managed, and traded by anyone.
