I've been doing my research on $Linea, and this is what I gather thus far, and why I'll be holding my n Linea for m days...
The LINEA token is not a utility token in the traditional sense (i.e., it doesn’t pay gas, and doesn’t give governance rights), but instead functions as: A mechanism to align incentives—rewarding participation, grants, liquidity, public goods.
A deflationary instrument, tied to network usage via its burn model. 80% of ETH fees are used to buy and burn Linea
A token dedicated entirely to ecosystem growth, with no private or insider allocation.
Joe has stated that "holding Linea will open up further reward opportunities, particularly tokens"
Lastly, I am incredibly bullish SBET and I think allocating a small portion to Linea will help round out the holy trinity of assets - $ETH, $SBET, $Linea
