Think about when we can stream 1080p video models in real time. Right now, we’re only compute constrained, but models are getting faster and better (nano banana).
This will blow current next-gen graphics out of the water, it will be ultra realism in real time. A true simulation our reality. This might be the most profound technology out of all this madness.
We’ve been manually creating increasingly intense graphics, but the real solution was just weights all along.
It's also ultra compressed, you can stream it, no downloading entire world simulations (imagine the size)
It would be interesting to hear how @ID_AA_Carmack, @TimSweeneyEpic or Jensen thinks about this.
