THE @btc_summit REFLECTIONS First, I want to thank all of our sponsors, partners, speakers and attendees from around the world - we wouldn’t be able to do it without you 🧡 What went right: • VIP dinner - 100 people, Bitcoin builders, investors and family offices + amazing food, great networking and chill vibes for 4+ hours • Side events - an awesome @XverseApp x @StarknetFndn lunch, great @Pizza_Ninjas x $DOG kick off party and more! • 1000+ attendees of @btc_summit, even @EricTrump came through for his meetings • Amazing speakers and content (everything was recorded and we will be releasing it soon!) • All major Bitcoin communities were represented - huge shout out to @btcbongo for repping @billydollarcat, @mimcoinbtc team for setting a cool wizard inflatable, $DOG team for selling out hundreds of the limited edition plushies and flooding my entire TL for 3 days, @ImaginaryTek for turning $GIZMO plushies into “Labubu-like” sensation, @Pizza_Ninjas for dope mascots, @ercwl for showing up in his wizard attire, @proofofcar for being the entertainer, as always 👏👏 + obviously huge shout out to all the artists and builders who made their way to the Bitcoin Summit • We had the best Bitcoin merch, period. So many people came up to me saying how much they loved the super high quality hats and tees we made specifically for @btc_summit 🧢 • Overall vibes and the Bitcoin community just being awesome, one example being @swannycrypto who jumped in without even thinking about it when I asked her for help 🧡 What went wrong: • I chose the wrong venue, it’s my fault and I have to own it. The venue was too big and too spread out. Second stage was hard to find and when Eric Trump’s 6 security guys blocked the hallway people couldn’t even go for the talks. Managing traffic is the most important thing when it comes to events and we just didn’t do a great job this year 😭 Even though we had 1000+ attending (more than last year!!!), it still looked quite empty at times, which is the biggest fear of any event organizer We will learn from these mistakes and make Bitcoin Summit 10x better next time, I have no doubts Once again, a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone involved 🧡
