I am very much disappointed with the consumers apps on web3 for having zero innovation on idea side from a long time.
- Same social apps with bonding curve claiming to be next big thing for creators (zora, baseapp is same old thing with new names)
- same old platform native apps (now called mini-apps) across all chains/apps
- same old token launchers being built over and over
- hackathons have been total failure. Zero good ideas come out of it. Mosr of the winning projects shut down. For sure some of those builds have numbers, VC backing, prize money but the end sum is zero.
When was the last time you heard of a great idea being solved using Blockchain?
Here are mine:
1. I recall Grass being decentralized data collector for building AI models. Not sure what they are upto now but their idea was cool and innovative.
2. Worldcoin sounds great. UBI and human verification will be a great need in future. Not sure what happened to them and what they are cooking now.
3. @aoTheComputer appears to be unique. The idea to run codes on a decentralized computing network. Not sure about the scalability of it.
