Why did I buy a batch of glasses NFTs after @sign's TGE?
For many one-off projects, once the tokens are issued, the NFTs become useless. However, for projects with a real community and a long-term vision, the value of NFTs will gradually emerge after the rights are distributed.
Although my NFTs haven't started making a profit yet, today @ethsign announced a $12 million token buyback, proving that I didn't misjudge this project. Moving forward, NFTs, as core assets, will definitely see a return to value, anchoring the token.
Last year, the project team had a real income of $15 million, and this buyback directly involved $12 million, most of which was bought directly from the market. This is different from some projects that issue tokens purely to exchange influence for more fiat currency. The sign project team believes their token has value, just like blue chips such as hype and okb, which will continue to buy back.
In this buyback, the foundation also directly announced three uses for $sign. First, it’s the recently popular coin stocks. Bitcoin goes without saying, and Ethereum, which has been sluggish for so long, is also revitalizing through coin stocks. Sign has also reached cooperation with some listed companies, joining the coin stock flywheel.
For something like Ethereum, which has a price-to-earnings ratio in the tens of thousands, it can be purely speculative for a while, while sign's circulating price-to-earnings ratio is less than 7, making it a pure value investment in the US stock market.
Secondly, it will be used for new exchange listings. Currently, Binance has already listed it, and group members have discovered that Coinbase Prime has added the sign ticker, likely to facilitate listed companies in obtaining more sign in compliance with regulations, which complements the previous point.
Finally, to expand the orange dynasty 🧡, this point is already quite obvious, as the second season is about to begin.
This is also why I said at the beginning that I believe glasses NFTs are an alpha opportunity. After all, you can't buy SBTs, and the total of only 2k NFTs is the fastest way to enter the core community.
In fact, after this price increase, seeing signs NFTs did not show significant fluctuations in token value, and there is still room for growth.
