When I just transitioned from a brokerage (internship) to crypto, I couldn't understand the value of most altcoins; I didn't see where the value capture was. I asked many friends working on various projects about their views on the upcoming TGE, and most expressed the idea that it would just dump upon launch, so getting into altcoins at the second stage is a risky endeavor. This year, aside from KAITO/IP, I haven't made any significant purchases of altcoins; I think moving forward, if there are no real revenue models for projects, I won't buy them again. Convincing myself to buy altcoins is a painful process, even for the two mentioned above, I found countless reasons. Going back to last year's hyperliquid TGE, I mentioned that my method could be replicated: deep involvement in early projects at low cost. This is the best and fastest shortcut in the crypto space; both personal influence and wealth growth will increase exponentially. BTC/ETH/SOL/BNB/HYPE, the so-called OGs, all took this path, so let's not get caught up in narratives and research reports. Do your own research; being fast on the curve is what truly matters.
