dear builders,
ai has collapsed build cycles such that speed is no longer an edge; focus and distribution is (aka targeting the right first users).
the same thousand early adopters are numb after seeing hundreds of demos each day so chasing them is a race to zero conversion. this is why "only building for ct" often ends painfully.
instead; spend some time dropping into fresh pockets. mini apps on @worldcoin, @farcaster_xyz, and soon @base let you sidestep the fatigue and speak directly to untouched users.
(side note: this is also kinda my bull case for crypto as a distribution engine for modern local-first sybil-resistant apps; for builders both in and out of crypto).
as a onchain builder experimenting on apps in 2025, you should launch fast and launch often. ship the same core idea across several l2s and mini-app hubs; track product-market fit in each community, then pour fuel on the locales that catch on.
think global start local, focus on getting your first users to care, don't over obsess on the power law especially if you're just tinkering.
