The web3 gaming scene feels like it’s on life support and it’s lost its way.

In 2018, a quiet spark lit the flame we now call web3 gaming: Axie Infinity.
That spark became a beacon:
- Real lives changed
- Millions onboarded
- Digital economies formed
Then the tide turned:
- Studios shut down
- Communities drifted apart
- Hype drowned out purpose
Many walked away. Ronin moved forward.
What started as Axie’s sidechain has become a full blown gaming-first blockchain a mission-driven ecosystem focused on improving lives through gaming.

A future where players own, not just participate and that ownership drives meaning, connection, and loyalty to the brand and one another.
Since stepping away from Moonfrost (a project close to my heart), one question kept following me... “What’s next?”
