Introducing TaoBase (@taobase_) Over the past couple of years, I’ve gone deep down the AI x blockchain rabbit hole. After discovering Bittensor, it was immediately apparent to me that this is a protocol that would change the world. We’re nearing the event horizon of AGI, superintelligence, and the Kurtzweilian singularity. Within just a few years—likely sooner than the time that’s passed since COVID—humans will no longer be the most intelligent entities on Earth. Yet today, the world’s most powerful AI models are controlled by just four corporations. That’s why decentralization matters. That’s why Bittensor matters. I’ve never had more conviction in anything in my life. That’s why we launched TaoBase ( U.S.-based operating company dedicated to advancing and supporting the Bittensor ecosystem. TaoBase will be active across multiple layers of the network: acquiring and staking $TAO to help secure and decentralize machine intelligence, engage with high-potential subnets, selectively help incubate new ones, and conduct in-depth research and analysis to educate the broader market. Our mission is to accelerate Bittensor’s growth by being a thoughtful, long-term participant—technically, economically, and intellectually. I spent most of my career in private equity before moving into entrepreneurship a few years ago. Now, I’m all-in on Bittensor—and inspired by the leadership, insight, and conviction from voices like @const_reborn @barrysilbert @markjeffrey @josephjacks_ @old_samster @siamkidd @frankschuil @dreadbong0 @here4white, and of course the ever-entertaining @badenglishtea (among many others). At TaoBase, we aim to contribute to the Bittensor ecosystem in our own unique way— connecting institutional capital, supporting growth, deepening participation, and helping tell the story of decentralized intelligence.
