ZKM’s zkVM is open-source, based on the MIPS32r2 architecture, and designed as a universal proving layer. It can verify computations from Rust-based programs, scaling @Bitcoin and @ethereum alike 👇
In May, @ProjectZKM released version 1.0 of its zkVM - a full-stack, production-grade upgrade, featuring support for the extended MIPS32r2 ISA, Plonky3 proof system (built on KoalaBear Prime), multiset hashing for memory consistency, and modular chip design for complex operations. Proving performance has been increased by 6-19× compared to the previous version.
ZKM’s zkVM is currently contributing to the @eth_proofs initiative by generating ZKPs for @ethereum blocks - demonstrating its high throughput and cross-domain potential, from L1 scalability to real-time verification of complex computations 👇
