I researched the upcoming @megaeth_labs projects — here’s what stood out: 1. @noise_xyz — trade mindshare 2. @valhalla_defi — on-chain exchange 3. @GTE_XYZ — on-chain CEX competitor 4. @Euphoria_fi — mobile first perp. exchange 5. @capmoney_ — stablecoin yield strategies 6. @tekofinance — money market & yield strategies 7. @Showdown_TCG — trading card game 8. @Hop_Network — Distributed multi-hop VPN 9. @RainMakr_xyz — Launchpad AI, Memes & IDOs 10. @awe_box — Game engine based on threejs 11. @avon_xyz — money market with orderbook 12. @TryNectarAI — personalised AI companion 13. @trysweep — prediction market for streaming My thoughts on some of the projects: My favorites: 1. @noise_xyz is my favorite project on the list. They use the $KAITO API to create a betting platform for mindshare fluctuations. I see challenges in generating enough liquidity, but betting on mindshare could be more interesting than betting on tokens. No VC vesting on Mindshare. No Team unlock, etc. Their Invite-Only Beta generated serious traction: - 82% of users placed their first trade within 24 hours - 63% returned the next day - Average user session length: 22 minutes The team reports that the platform generated ~$375K in fees had they been in place (fees are 33 basis points per trade) If you can give me access to Noise, please reach out, I'd love to test it. 2. @awe_box I like this type of gaming engine. There are a few similar projects, such as @hyperfy_io. For whatever reason, the $HYPER token trades incredibly cheaply. Is AweBox's valuation capped by $HYPER, or will $HYPER pump when AweBox launches at a higher valuation? DeFi & exchanges: 3. @valhalla_defi, @GTE_XYZ & @Euphoria_fi are direct competitors. They also compete with Hyperliquid. Which brings up the question: Can any of these projects compete with Hyperliquid? MegaETH is a great blockchain, but Hyperliquid was built from the ground up specifically for trading. Depending on how this plays out, it could be very bullish or bearish for $HYPE. Outliers: 4. @Showdown_TCG is a mix between Poker and Magic, created by Magic and Poker professionals. I am usually bearish on trading card games because there are too many in Web 3.0, but maybe they have a shot. Their deep insights into card games and connection to the megaETH community make a strong foundation for their game to get adoption. 5. @TryNectarAI I am a bit worried about the AI companions stuff because I fear a world where humans form meaningful relationships with AI instead of other humans. AI companions look trivial at first. However, Nectar allows you to call your AI girlfriend to have a conversation over the phone. They have also partnered with AWE and can connect your AI best friend to AWE game worlds. How many friends do you have to play a new video game? I know many cases, especially in crypto, where people with a lot of time would appreciate a gaming companion. ____ Conclusion: There are some pretty serious projects building on MegaETH. Especially, the MegaETH mafia projects have real quality. It feels like MegaETH is one of those blockchains that can get actual adoption, and people genuinely enjoy building on there. Honestly, I feel like what Base was in 2024, MegaETH could be in 2025. I'm definitely keeping an eye on this. Which project on MegaETH do you find most interesting? S/o to @0x_ultra - Fluffle is incredibly useful
