Plume launches the Genesis mainnet to bring real-world assets to DeFi

PANews reported on June 5 that Plume, a blockchain network focusing on real-world assets (RWA), officially launched the Genesis mainnet according to CoinDesk. The platform has integrated more than $150 million in RWA assets from traditional financial institutions such as BlackRock and Invesco, and has completed integration with DeFi protocols such as Curve and Morpho.

By tokenising traditional financial instruments, Plume enables users to seamlessly use RWA in DeFi scenarios such as lending, liquidity provisioning, and more. In December 2024, the project completed a $20 million Series A financing, with an ecological capital scale of $4 billion. The team plans to expand into new asset classes such as art and precious metals in the coming months.
