The eve of the alt-season breakout: How to build a suitable altcoin season portfolio?

These are the clearest bull signals I've had in the seven years I've been in the crypto market:

  • BTC is close to all-time highs

  • Retail interest is near all-time lows

  • ETH/BTC exchange rate out of a 3-year downward trend

  • Altcoin index rebounds from range lows

every factor has triggered a copycat season. Now that they're all together, they're going to resonate.

Is this really the start of the next copycat season?

I can't believe I'd say that, but I genuinely think we're finally about to have an altcoin boom.

In this long-form thread, I'll break it down:

  • How the market mindset has changed and why is bullish

  • What has changed to make the copycat season a reality?

  • Important Future Catalysts

  • Key Indicators and Their Foreshadowing Signals

  • Which altcoins are likely to skyrocket

  • How to Build a Suitable Altcoin Quarterly Portfolio

  • How to study hard-to-land projects

I've been in the crypto space for 7 years and have witnessed dozens of market structures that trigger the copycat season.

Yes, the cycle does change somewhat, and I've broken down the process and reasons for the change in detail in the post I've been quoted.

However, I think we are at the beginning of a more protracted altcoin season, and this trend does not need Bitcoin to soar to $150,000 to support it.

The narrative around BTC has fundamentally shifted, from being seen as a Ponzi scheme, to: a macro hedge against top investment targets, the sixth largest asset by market capitalization (and endorsed by S&P), the fight against inflation, and the top countermeasure in countries facing isolation or high inflation.

Bitcoin's rise from its current position is no longer necessary for the start of the copycat season.

Bitcoin's skyrocketing (in percentage) will be smaller, as will the plummeting. When the market capitalization expands, its price fluctuations become so. Every year, the trend of Bitcoin becoming a store of value rather than a speculative asset is becoming more and more obvious.

This is where the "value" of altcoins lies.
