Convert FAQ
1. What is Convert?
Convert simplifies the crypto conversion process by eliminating the need for multiple trades or frequent asset transfers between accounts, providing you with a seamless experience. It also allows you to exchange crypto at a lower threshold than the spot market.
2. What is the difference between convert and spot trading?
Convert uses a quoting model, which differs from the traditional order-matching model used in spot trading, resulting in no transaction fees or slippage. As such, there is a price difference between the quoted price and the spot market price. Convert enables you to complete one-click transactions after confirming a price, without having to know how the spot market works, meaning you'll receive the amount you preview.
3. Which crypto can I convert on OKX TR?
With Convert, you can exchange most of the cryptocurrencies listed on OKX TR into other cryptos or fiat currency. It’s extremely flexible and convenient, allowing you to convert Tether (USDT) to Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and more, or to exchange any balance for your preferred crypto or fiat currency. To get a real-time exchange rate, simply select your crypto pair from the drop-down menu.
4. What is the minimum and maximum amount I can convert into a single transaction?
The minimum limit is close to 0, allowing you to convert any small balance at a low threshold. The maximum limit depends on the specific crypto. You can input an amount and click Convert for a preview.
5. How do I add crypto or fiat currency?
Convert is connected to your account. If you have a sufficient amount in your account, you can simply select the available crypto to complete the process.
If you have an insufficient amount in your account, you can select the available crypto or fiat currency and select Add more to add a sufficient amount to your account before performing the convert feature.
6. Where can I view converted crypto?
Converted crypto is automatically deposited into your account.
7. Where can I view my transaction history?
You can view the transaction history by accessing Menu > Transactions and find the convert history.
If you would like to view only convert-related transaction history, you can filter it by selecting Type > Convert.
