The newly released @brevis_zk white paper explains ProverNet – a verifiable-compute marketplace for zero-knowledge work.
Three major innovations to note:
1️⃣ Heterogeneous proof support: Unlike single-stack systems, ProverNet handles zkVMs, data coprocessors, recursive aggregations, and multi-stage pipelines, enabling diverse workloads in one ecosystem.
2️⃣ Truthful Online Double Auction (TODA): Requesters and provers competitively bid in a permissionless market ensuring honest pricing, budget balance and low latency matching between supply and demand.
3️⃣ Token-backed incentive layer (BREV): Jobs are paid in BREV, provers stake BREV for SLA guarantees, and delegators share in rewards — aligning economic incentives with service delivery.
If Brevis scales as described, it could become the infrastructure for “proof-as-a-service” across DeFi, wallets and hybrid workloads.
Very ambitious imo.
PS: @VitalikButerin retweeted a post from Brevis earlier today, so I'm expecting an increased interest here ;)
