a few months ago i found out that one of our competitors, a vc-backed data site, was using our data without attribution, asked them to add it checked now and they're taking our data for many protocols and attributing it to themselves
We found out when their code broke and they stopped pulling updates for a bunch of metrics labelled 'Source: DefiLlama', but then other metrics labelled 'Source: Artemis' also stopped updating at the same time Then, after they fixed their systems, we injected some fake numbers in our db, and the exact same numbers appeared on their 'Source: Artemis' data, meaning that it is our data instead
