Most people don't think defi can be possible with BTC, why?
Well BTC original goal was to be a digital store of value, but why should it be that alone? @beyond__tech is turning BTC layer one into a passage where crypto assets can go and come through the same portal in the BTC network.
This isn't a layer 2. Why? It's simple this is the first tech to do it: connects side chains and other layers while giving BTC holders a reason to keep staying within BTC. Also, testnet is coming for beyond tech.
