i think someone should build an SVM L2 on Bitcoin that posts data to Eigen or Celestia utilizing BTC as the native token with a small set of colocated permissionless giant nodes and espresso as the sequencer.
Build the bridge using bitVM and use intents / LP's to get to / fro ETH / Solana quickly.
unironically trillion dollar idea.
the reason no one will build this is because there's no money behind it and this industry has devolved into being about pure max extraction.
you could have 20k+ TPS, bitcoin grade security, sub second 99.5% finality, and Solana grade UX utilizing a design like this.
ironically enough, this design would align incentives to validators which could be large large BTC holders willing to accept the risk of reorgs between proofs being stored on BTC every block.
those validators would print if the network saw even a modicum of usage.
