As a top 400 trader on the @Lighter_xyz leaderboard, I decided to take an extra gamble on lighter.
But here's the catch: I am borrowing USDC for free and trading here to get MORE POINTS.
Here’s how do it without selling a single $ETH 👇
🔁 Step 1 — Borrow against ETH
I deposit 10 $ETH into @zendfionbase and borrow about $25,000 USDC.
Because ZendFi uses fixed-term loans, I know my cost up front
And I can borrow this USDC for 1 year MAX without liquidation.
💸 Step 3 — Trade to get points.
I trade with more capital to get more points :)
Right now, I am long on $BERA and $ZEC.
Why is this a good strategy?
1. If ETH rallies, I keep that upside.
2. If TGE explodes, I’m positioned early with points and yield compounding.
3. And if the market chops? My cost is already covered by real yield.
💡 TL;DR
1. Borrow $25K USDC on @ZendFi
2. Deposit 20K for yield to take care of borrowing cost
3. Use the rest to trade more to get more points.
Capital efficiency + airdrop meta = peak DeFi loop.
With this I was able to hold a longer position.
Will see if this strategy is better, and if it is, I plan to add more USDC on @Lighter_xyz while keeping my $ETH stack at @zendfionbase
