The purpose of CookieDotFun (or @vooi_io) is actually for you to study and get informed to earn snaps... Isn't it about naturally immersing yourself enough to become a customer voluntarily?..
It's basically the same as Upbit spending 50,000 won to attract new customers, lol~

The empty house has become a hot spot @vooi_io ..?
After reading Loopy's (@bartender_loopy) post, I think I need to write a post while thinking a bit more, not just casually chatting! I want to discuss the direction of vool (or similar projects).
Currently, Perp DEX (Perpetual DEX) has different interfaces for each chain and protocol, and liquidity is dispersed.
- Users have to handle bridge, chain switching, and gas settings themselves.
- This complexity ultimately acts as a barrier to entry for newcomers.
VOOL is one of the projects aimed at solving this problem.
VOOI combines several Perp DEXs (Orderly, Hyperliquid, etc.) into a single interface, allowing transactions without bridges or gas settings through chain abstraction.
For example, if a user simply inputs 'BTC long 5x',
it will search for and execute the optimal path in the backend.
This structure is called Intent-based Trading.
Just like a CEX exchange.
?? So is it like a CEX exchange?
You might think, but the concept is a bit different.
What is CEX?
• Users submit orders → immediately reflected in the exchange's central order book
• The exchange holds liquidity, and the matching engine executes instantly
• No need to worry about gas, bridges, or path selection
• A centralized system handles all executions
➡️ In other words, the user's 'intent' is executed directly in the exchange's internal logic, and liquidity and matching are gathered in one place.
What is Intent-based Trading?
• Users only submit their 'intent' like 'BTC 5x long $2000 entry' to the network
VOOI (or the relevant protocol) based on this intent
• Searches for the optimal path among various Perp DEXs
• Automatically handles bridges and chain switching in the backend
• Leaves verifiable results like ZK proofs
• Actual execution is not done by VOOI itself, but by external DEXs (Orderly, Hyperliquid, etc.)
➡️ Liquidity and matching are achieved through a collection of decentralized DEXs, allowing users to trade without worrying about complexities like chains, gas, or slippage.
So! To summarize,
Intent-based Trading is
'reproducing the UX of CEX in DeFi', but in reality, it is a decentralized structure.
Understanding this, I can see why recently Chain Abstraction + Intent-based trading has gained attention as a UX strategy against CEX in DeFi.
After writing all this, I feel like I wrote it a bit chaotically haha.
I wanted to summarize it more easily, but my knowledge is still lacking, and I feel like my brain is going to explode.. lol
That's it for today's study!
Thanks again to Loopy for the insights! (Please understand the tags hehe)
Thank you for reading this long post.
But I can't resist chatting, so the chatting continues...!
