On-chain $4 missed out on $2Z, and I also made 5X tonight as compensation. Buying in with big funds at the opening time feels great, I didn't expect such FOMO to push it to 1.7, maybe it's because the Solana chain has more money?
Recently, I've been doing VC and summarized some experiences at the opening:
Just looking at Alpha to assess the project.
Alpha + contracts to look at early circulation + project background.
Alpha + contracts + spot + finding positions directly at the opening.
Here's a knowledge point: On-chain will generally open a few minutes earlier than Alpha. Alpha waits for the on-chain to open before it opens. If Alpha opens at 8, then on-chain will open around 8:50. Many people are unaware of this information gap and go to the secondary market to wait for Alpha, while on-chain has already opened early. So, find the contracts in advance to wait on-chain; if you're quick on-chain, Alpha's opening can already be several points up. The core logic is that high-valued projects will open high. If you buy on-chain at the first moment, you can wait for the spot to rise quickly and still gain at least several points. Like tonight's $2Z, which FOMO'd directly several times, and the FF from a few days ago rose from 0.4 to 0.6, also over 50%. Playing these openings is very comfortable for big funds, but you must run before the spot.
