I received an invitation from @0xagarwal and had a meal together during KBW.
From what I heard there, it seems that there were many achievements with the Wormhole 2.0 upgrade. It actually had an impact on the price as well.
To briefly understand Wormhole 2.0:
- Accumulating profits in the Reserve in the form of $W
- Staking W and participating in governance aims for a 4% annual yield
- Previously, there was a large unlock once a year > now it will be released gradually every two weeks
It seems like an attempt to support the token price.
I will have to keep a close eye on how Wormhole changes.
