Traders love Jupiter Perps for the deep liquidity â but theyâve also been asking for lower fees.
The perps team cooked hard and delivered.
The linear price impact fee is now ~60% cheaper, and max position sizes are doubled.
Two major upgrades just went live on Jupiter Perps đ
1. Fees are lower
The linear price impact fee has been cut by ~60%.
2. Max position sizes have doubled
You can now take on larger positions.
Letâs break down what this means for traders đ
Fee reductions
Perp fees are made up of 4 parts:
âą Base fee
âą Linear price impact fee
âą Additive price impact fee
âą Borrow fee
This update slashes the linear price impact fee by ~60%.
For SOL, that translates into an overall ~22% lower total fee.
And this is only the first step, more fees will be lowered over time.
Position limits have doubled
You now have higher caps for leveraged trading:
âą SOL: $10M (up from $5M)
âą ETH: $20M (up from $10M)
âą BTC: $20M (up from $10M)
Jupiter Perps are the most popular on Solana because they have guaranteed liquidity.
The tradeoff for this has been paying a bit more in fees.
But now weâre bringing you the best of both worlds.
Stay tuned for more fee reductions to come.
