The story of @WangChaidotbonk, to be continued.
Jobs not finished.
The birth of Wangchai has now reached a point that can no longer be described as a miracle. What has this community experienced? I couldn't sleep at night, and I still want to talk to everyone about how difficult it has been for this CTO... To help everyone better relate, I will narrate from my first-person perspective. Since it's too long, I won't post it outside; the community can read it themselves. I believe only the steadfast holders will be able to finish it.
On July 4th, Wangchai's father @19ys_GGboy scanned the chain during a live broadcast and discovered Wangchai. At that time, in the environment where Bonk was friendly to Chinese speakers, Wangchai became the CTO under the green hat's live camera. The green hat allocated 2% of the chips to @theunipcs and sent a private message to @SolportTom, receiving a reply from Tom. Gake, D哥, and Laser Cat also bought into Wangchai to show their support, and the price reached 3.4M that day. I officially joined the community at 8 PM on the first day and asked the green hat for management in the early morning (I had not interacted with him before). I was also unfamiliar with others in the group; at that time, I was just an unknown person in a small dog-fighting group with only 80 Twitter followers. The reason I wanted management was that I had previously worked on a CTO team in BSC, so I had some experience. Thus, the story began. I still remember that on the first day, we built until 8 AM the next morning, chatting in the space for a long time. I was really afraid it would die on the first night; at that time, the consensus had not fully formed, and the basic foundation was mainly composed of the green hat's influence. It was really not easy to counter the prejudiced voices in the circle with personal influence.
On July 5th, after building all night, our community began to have an initial group of administrators. At that time, there were more than ten administrators, but only five have persisted until now: @Jack12774, @shaonv0x, @0xAndy_eth, @1vilP, and @Silt73. I remember that at that time, Jack was the only one making graphics for the community. He stayed up several nights to create an initial material library for Wangchai, allowing us to start pushing some basic graphics. Initially, I was responsible for organizing the push in the group, which was quite difficult because there was no credibility; no one would listen to you. What we called organization was basically just random pushing. I remember that morning, Gake added to his position and helped us break through a 4M resistance level. Gake is really a great person; thank you so much, Gake. The consensus at that time was nowhere near as strong as the current fundamentals. By noon, the price dropped from 4M to around 2M. Besides that, it was the first time I received a like and reply from Tom, and thus began my story with that man. 😂
July 6th was an unforgettable day. I remember that day started with a drop, and at that time, my position was quite heavy, pulling my average price up to 3.2M. That night, it dropped to over 1M. Because my position was too heavy, I almost cut my losses. To be honest, I was really pessimistic because the fundamentals of this project after just two days were nowhere near as good as they are now, and the most basic consensus had not been well formed. I really wanted to cut my losses and leave, but I held on. Under immense psychological pressure, Tom came with Bonkguy. That man was like a god descending to earth; the price was instantly pulled back to 4M and broke the previous high. At that moment, tears of relief filled my eyes. On one hand, the psychological pressure was released, and on the other hand, I felt that my efforts had finally been recognized. It was a very happy day, but at that time, I didn't know I was too early to be excited and had no idea that so many things were still to come. 🥲 I also didn't expect to be so deeply connected with Wangchai.
This is the first phase of Wangchai, where the initial consensus was formed. The first three days were truly a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences. In fact, Tom had already bet on Wangchai's future during this phase (he bought in), but we did not get access to the CTO wallet in time, which led to us having very little money in the CTO wallet when we finally got it. This is also one of the reasons why it has been so difficult for Wangchai to reach today. The DEV consumed a large amount of Wangchai's trading volume profits, with Sol alone taking 50S, not to mention the large amount of Wangchai tokens generated from early trading (the mechanism of Bonk is that the lower the token price, the more tokens are distributed). If we could have accessed the CTO wallet at that time, I believe the path ahead would have been much smoother. We could have even used chips for listings or market-making. Unfortunately, there are no 'what ifs' because SKG got sick, and we were delayed for a long time before we got the rights to the CTO wallet. By that time, the DEV was already lying back and profiting, while we only received a wallet with pitifully few chips.
