Seeing @Aptos's tweet, my first reaction is: @NEARProtocol has really figured out the "intents mechanism" this time. In the past, when people talked about cross-chain, it was either building a bridge or creating a bunch of new wallets, resulting in a ton of security issues and a terrible user experience. Now, with NEAR's Intents, they directly abstract away the complex operations, allowing BTC → APT to be completed with one click, which is what ordinary users can truly use. Even better, the addition of hot storage like Shelby actually completes NEAR's AI narrative. If you want to run AI agents, you can't just rely on "cold storage archives"; you must have sub-second response capabilities to make AI truly real-time. After adding this piece of the puzzle, NEAR's AI stack resembles a complete system. Looking at Rhea, they directly use intents to leverage a "cross-chain currency market," bringing ETH, BTC, Sol, Sui, and XRP all together without needing a bridge, truly working towards...
