Global M2 vs BTC While Global M2 has not yet reclaimed ATHs, it has steadily trended upward since its local bottom in mid October. If it resumes this trend and puts in new highs, this would be a positive thing for BTC, especially in terms of the possibility of a cycle peak later this year (December?). Contrast that with a hypothetical scenario whereby Global M2 keeps dropping and does not put in a new ATH. In that case it would be very likely the cycle is over. We're not in that scenario yet, so that's a positive thing. Furthermore, regarding decoupling, Bitcoin has decoupled from M2 before, even on this very chart. It gives us a couple of options: 1. Bitcoin has a lot of ground to make up and it may do so violently and suddenly when the time comes (perhaps in a month from now). I think this is most likely of the three options. 2. Bitcoin will pick up correlation and continue to mirror M2 but from it's lower location on the chart. The moves still do seem to be correlated,...
