One of the thesis I most like about how AF2 will work is the Hype Wars (similar to how Curve works).
If this happens in the future, why would anyone launch their token in a chain different than Hyperliquid?
The Hype Wars
Let me explain. In Hyperliquid’s latest tweet, they mention, “Over time, governance will take over this responsibility,” referring to “the assistance fund will begin holding a diverse set of native assets on Hyperliquid.”
This is an incredible move by the team, as always.
By doing this, $HYPE instantly becomes a token that allows holders to earn bribes from projects listed on the spot market. Essentially, projects pay staking users to vote for them, thereby incentivizing the Assistance Fund 2 (AF2) to buy their tokens.
Who benefits?
Stakers: They earn bribes.
Projects: They gain purchases from AF2.
Hyperliquid: Gains more stakers.
