วันนี้ 15 สิงหาคม 2568 นายณรงวิทย์ ชดช้อย ผู้อำนวยการสวนสัตว์เปิดเขาเขียว พร้อมนายอรรถพล หนุนดี พนักงานบำรุงและจัดการสวนสัตว์ เข้าร่วมพิธีมอบรางวัล “IP Champion 2025” จากผลงานคาแรกเตอร์สุดฮอต “หมูเด้ง” ในงาน มหกรรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา (IP Fair 2025) ณ สามย่านมิตรทาวน์ฮอลล์ ชั้น 5 ศูนย์การค้าสามย่านมิตรทาวน์
พิธีมอบรางวัลจัดขึ้นอย่างเป็นทางการ โดยมี นายจุตพร บุรุษพัฒน์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ เป็นประธานมอบรางวัลให้แก่องค์การสวนสัตว์แห่งประเทศไทย ซึ่งในโอกาสนี้ นางจงกลนี แก้วสด รองผู้อำนวยการองค์การสวนสัตว์ฯ รักษาการผู้อำนวยการองค์การสวนสัตว์ฯ ขึ้นรับรางวัล ร่วมด้วยคณะผู้บริหาร
“หมูเด้ง” เกิดจากแรงบันดาลใจในพฤติกรรมแสนน่ารักและเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของ ฮิปโปโปเตมัสแคระ นำมาต่อยอดเป็น ART TOY และคาแรกเตอร์เชิงพาณิชย์ พร้อมจดลิขสิทธิ์และเครื่องหมายการค้าอย่างถูกต้อง ปัจจุบันได้จับมือกับแบรนด์ดังมากกว่า 100 แบรนด์ ครอบคลุมทั้งสินค้า บริการ และสื่อดิจิทัล คาดว่าจะสร้างรายได้กว่า 200 ล้านบาท ภายในปีนี้
รางวัลนี้ถือเป็นการตอกย้ำความสำเร็จของสวนสัตว์เปิดเขาเขียว ในการใช้ทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาอย่างสร้างสรรค์ เพื่อเพิ่มมูลค่าให้การท่องเที่ยวและการอนุรักษ์สัตว์ป่า พร้อมยกระดับภาพลักษณ์ขององค์การสวนสัตว์แห่งประเทศไทยสู่เวทีนานาชาติ
