IOTA DeFi Yield Farming Update
Currently, the only active yield farming on @PoolsFinance is stIOTA/VUSD. (Those who previously deposited in the stIOTA/IOTA LP should withdraw and claim rewards, as that program has ended.)
stIOTA/VUSD Pool APR: ~26%
Conversion of IOTA to stIOTA remains the same process as before through @swirlstake .
How to Obtain VUSD
Method 1 – Easier Route
Bridge USDC to IOTA EVM via Stargate
👉
Swap USDC for VUSD on MagicSEA (pool liquidity ~$1M TVL)
👉
Use the official IOTA bridge to transfer VUSD from EVM to MOVE VM
👉
Deposit VUSD together with stIOTA into PoolsDEX Farm
👉
Method 2 – @Virtue_Money CDP Strategy
Deposit ⅔ of your stIOTA into Virtue to borrow VUSD
Collateral ratio: 200%
Interest: 5% (base rate 6% – 1% subsidized)
👉
With 3,000 USD worth of stIOTA, deposit 2,000 USD into Virtue and borrow 1,000 VUSD.
Pair the borrowed 1,000 VUSD with the remaining 1,000 USD worth of stIOTA to form a 2,000 USD stIOTA/VUSD LP.Stake the LP in PoolsDEX Farm for yield.
