I looked into it.
Joseph Chalom wasn’t technically the Head of Digital Assets. He was Head of Strategic Ecosystem Partnerships and oversaw the whole digital assets team — including Robert Mitchnick.
Chalom spent nearly 20 years at BlackRock (!) and now joins SharpLink as Co-CEO.
Robert Mitchnick — the guy we all know from recent conferences — still holds the title "Head of Digital Assets" at BlackRock. He reported to Chalom before.
So now this all makes a lot more sense:
