Zama is a confidential blockchain protocol
enables confidential smart contracts on top of any L1 or L2 using FHE
their protocol is not just a new L1 or L2, but a multi-chain confidentiality layer
which operates on top of existing networks
at the core of the protocol lies advanced encryption technology
which allows computations to be performed directly on encrypted data
"why it so important?"
encryption important part of our personal life every day
it used already more than thousand years, for personal life to be kept secret
with appearance of internet and technologies, it became more complicate
because now it's not words swapped around
it's advanced encryption methods, and therefore it's irreplaceable part in life, especially in blockchain
turns out you use cloud and blockchain services as usual
but your data remains completely encrypted
no one except you can get access to it (of course, if they can't hack it...)
"how it works on tech part?"
Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) performs work with data
it is exactly the FHE technology that allows processing data without decryption
now encryption is preserved both at the stage of information transmission
and during data processing, while not limiting the user’s functionality
for smart contracts this is used with the help of the main technology FHEVM
exactly this library that allows devs to create smart contracts that work with encrypted data
it interacts seamlessly with off-chain components such as the Coprocessors and the Gateway
"but, what bullish points can you highlight?
i’m always looking for bullish points of the project
but in this case, zama did it for me, describing it in the intro, so:

the composability feature provides privacy without compromising compatibility
this easily allows integration with various blockchain protocols, with no issues for devs
> quantum-resistant
previously hackers with quantum computers learned to decrypt things using their power
fhe schemes are initially resistant to this, at least according to them
> publicly verifiable
allows any user to verify encrypted computations without revealing the underlying data
which makes it possible to audit, combining confidentiality with transparency
they only wrote 3 points in the intro, but i agree with all of them the most
this is simply something that really needed a specific solution

it's very simple, Zama has become a popular project
they launched a testnet, and i’d like you to know what it’s all about
but, i also think that a project of this level can't go without being integrated into Kaito
if you’re really interested in it, and so on, then why not make quality post?
i think it will be rewarded, but time will tell whether my theory turned out to be true
