소유권, 수익분배 okay okay 알겠음.
근데 memex 같은 플랫폼은 아킬레스건이 하나 있음.
바로 "저작권"과 같은 법적 분쟁 이슈임.
밈엑스처럼 밈의 '토큰화'를 통한 '수익화'가 결합되면, 슬슬 저작권 분쟁에 휘말릴 수 있음.
실제로 사례 2가지 들어보면,
1) 피넛 (PNUT) 코인 저작권 분쟁 : 피넛 다람쥐 주인 마크롱고는 바낸 등 대형 CEX가 자신의 동물 캐릭터 이미지와 상표를 허가없이 사용해 밈코인 PNUT 홍보했다고 법적 조치함.
2) 칠가이(CHILLGUY) 코인 저작권 분쟁 : 필립 뱅크스가 창작한 칠가이 캐릭터의 밈코인이 인기 끌자, 뱅크스는 저작권 침해 주장하며 법적 조치함. 근데 이건 원작자와 밈코인 팀이 라이선스 계약하면서 분쟁 마무리됨.
물론 본인이 창작한거로 밈코인 찍어내면 상관없지만, 알려진 밈을 재활용하면 저작권 이슈가 생길 수 있고, 그게 많아질수록 플랫폼인 MemeX도 똥줄탈 수 밖에없음.
