Big banks are playing the long game in crypto 🎣
“The biggest competitive edge big banks have is their ability to collaborate with one another,” Amberdata Director of Derivatives Greg Magadini told @DecryptMedia.
From Zelle to tokenized deposits collaboration could be their path into stablecoins. Meanwhile, fintechs like Circle and Robinhood are pushing forward fast.
“The initial interest from big banks like @jpmorgan, @BankofAmerica, and @Citi will come in the form of tokenized deposits... For the most part, I expect the big banks to remain cautious and only slowly move into the space,” Magadini said.
