Peaq Wth Polkadot leasing expiring... there is rapidly becoming the real-world backbone for the Economy of Things, and a lot of serious players are showing up to build on it. Here’s a breakdown of some of the most interesting builders and partners in the @peaq eco 🧵👇 (1/3)
Peaq continues to run uninterrupted on @Polkadot , leveraging its leased slot for secure, scalable DePIN operations. Their @peaq slot lease remains valid until July 26, 2025???! Just prior to that date, peaq will need to re-compete ore review in another auction or select another path to stay on Polkadot?? What if that doesn't happen? (1/3)
This @DeNetPro is using community memory space to power decentralized cloud storage. Basically it’s like Dropbox or Google Drive but the storage comes from people all over the world. No middlemen. building with @peaq Then there’s Denso. If you’ve ever driven a car, there’s a good chance one of their parts is inside it. They’re exploring how to use peaq to support future mobility systems. Not in theory, in practice. Deutsche Telekom is also involved. One of the biggest telecom companies in Europe. They’ve already been validating for Polkadot and now they’re stepping deeper into decentralized infrastructure. (2/3)
DLR is the German Aerospace Center. These guys are exploring robotics and autonomous systems with peaq. That means drones, satellites, and all the stuff that usually sounds like science fiction and building with @peaq / @Polkadot Dronedash is another one I like. They’re working on automating drones in agriculture. Think smart farms where drones handle crop monitoring, spraying, and logistics without a central controller. Then there’s dTelecom. They’re rethinking how voice and video calls work by using community devices instead of centralized servers. It’s like if Zoom was truly decentralized. EoT Labs is behind a lot of the building here. They’re incubating apps that use peaq to power machines and connected devices. Not just in one sector, but across mobility, energy, and other industries. (3/3)
