I think a lot of people got sidelined after the meme mania in Q1. And tbh, think people are too focused on trying to chase short term gains vs trying/learning new things like defi. HyperEVM is mostly defi apps and for those who have never tried before it can be intimidating or one of those things that they say, "oh I'll look at it later."

Let me ask you something If everyone knows the next HyperEVM airdrop is coming... If everyone knows it’s gonna be huge... Why are there still so few users? Even the biggest protocol on HyperEVM hasn’t cracked 30,000 (Jito pre-airdrop) What am I not seeing? I’m wide open to hearing it
