One pitfall to particularly mention about transfers is that if you have Aptos and accidentally transfer it to your Sui address, that fund is gone. We researched and found that it cannot be retrieved. The private key corresponding to your Sui address cannot derive an Aptos address of the same address... they cannot be converted to each other.
In other words, the same mnemonic phrase, when derived according to the logic of Aptos Sui, results in different addresses. However, during transfers, they are all considered valid addresses... starting with 0x, a total of 66 characters...
