The report explored 6-months worth of trading data to ask 🤔 Which solver based DEX offered the best value for end-users. The three DEXes examined were: - CoW Swap - 1inch Fusion - UniswapX
The headline: đź“° Solver based DEXes performed better than their non solver-based alternatives. "Solvers effectively improved pricing through optimized routing and access to off-chain liquidity for both short-tail (USDC-WETH) and long-tail (PEPE-WETH) assets."
CoW Swap had a more decentralized solver network 🌍 - On 1inchFusion: the top three solvers control 80% of total volume. - On UniswapX, just two solvers dominate over 90% of total volume. - On CoWSwap, 1 solver had 25%, 5 had 10% each. 👏
But there's more. 💡 CoW Swap was better for big traders: 🤑 "CoWSwap, among the 3, showed the most significant uptick of execution improvement as trade size goes above 100 ETH."
CoW Swap also handled way more volume than its rivals. đź’¸ "CoW Swap has an avg daily trading volume of ~$200m, while 1inchFusion totals around $60m and UniswapX around $30m."
