I've been getting a lot of messages lately from people asking me what I think about MSU. I’ve always believed that tokens and games are fundamentally two different products. A falling token price doesn’t necessarily mean the game itself is bad. Token prices reflect market dynamics, while the core enjoyment of a game exists independently of financial charts. Of course, Web3 games offer something unique compared to traditional games. The incentive system definitely attracts more users and generates early excitement. But if a game becomes filled only with people seeking financial gain, its lifespan inevitably shortens. At the end of the day, games are meant to be fun, not work. For me, gaming is simply a way to relax and enjoy myself. I enjoy developing my character, spending money on gear or cosmetics, and watching my progress. When gameplay starts to feel more like labor than entertainment, players will eventually burn out and leave. "Why do I play games?" Because it’s fun. That’s it. That said, I also hope the @MaplestoryU team can address a long-standing issue that has been pointed out since the early days — the problem of cheaters. I sincerely hope they will take swift action to resolve it, for the sake of the entire ecosystem.
