Better late than never.
The Apecoin DAO has always been one of the key aspects that concerned me over the years.
I felt there was huge promise initially, attending a lot of the ape events but quickly realized how things were developing was not to my taste.
Expressed my concerns to people like @Waabam_eth who took the effort to reach out directly to me. But things did not get better and I decided to just focus on other things.
Had a really good time getting to know people in the community in the early days, truly an experience I’m be eternally grateful for. I still value the relationships I have with those I have gotten to know over the years through this.
I wish the team and the community all the best moving forward.
The ApeCoin DAO was born in a different era. It started with promise, but quickly spiraled into gridlock, governance theater, vanity proposals, and low-impact noise.
Many good ideas got buried, and a lot of bad ideas got funded.
It's no surprise that so many new tokens don't even bother with DAOs anymore.
