over the last few weeks we’ve onboarded over 100k people to the sugartown ecosystem.
now we’re in the middle of our go-to-market for CORES, and with all of the excitement going around, i wanted to re-introduce myself.
i’m tommy ngo (tongo) and i cofounded sugartown alongside @mwolf. if we haven’t met yet, here’s a bit of my background:
- vp/head of product and led teams at zynga, take-two interactive, nexon, gree, etc.
- 10+ years building games, focusing on economies at scale
- crypto class of 2017, NFTs in 2020, now fully onchain
- made my career experimenting and innovating with new technology in existing game loops
our mission and thesis is to revolutionize gamefi and onchain experiences through incentivized play. ive built sustainable economies and scaled to millions of users in web2 game i’ve overseen (farmville, zynga poker, etc.) -- and im bringing that experience to sugartown on abstract.
now we’re reshaping how gamers, collectors, and holders engage with web3 through CORES.
