Today was important because we learned Robinhood chose an ETH based L2 over Solana.
Coinbase and Robinhood selected the L2 route with Optimism and Arbitrum.
ByBit and Kraken chose the Solana route.
The multi-chain world is starting to shape up after 6+ years of the L1 wars.
The dex wars will take a similar amount of time as well.
To me it seems like a successful dex will need:
1. friendly UX
2. variety of perp offerings
3. on chain equities
4. low to no fees
5. a high yield LP pool
6. spot trading
7. options
8. some kind of token incubation abilities
9. oh and 50x leverage

If anything I think Robinhood building a chain with Arbitrum means the model of fintechs building with L2 stacks that Optimism pioneered is proving itself out! Bullish the entire space but ofc most bullish on the OG Superchain!
