Information Regarding MKK Registry Number

Published on Jun 28, 20254 min read

Dear Users,

In line with the regulations introduced by the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (CMB), all Crypto Asset Service Providers operating in Turkey are required to create a user registry record with the Central Securities Depository of Turkey (MKK) on behalf of their users.

Within this scope, as part of our compliance efforts, OKX TR has submitted your information to the MKK system. If you did not previously have a registry record, one has now been created in your name.

This registration is solely a regulatory requirement and has no impact on your accounts or transactions with OKX TR. You may continue to use our platform and perform all your transactions as usual.

Thanks to this registration, in the future you will be able to transparently view your crypto assets held across different platforms in one place via the MKK system.

What You Need to Know:

  • Your registry number has been automatically created. You are not required to take any action.

  • Your OKX TR transactions continue to be carried out securely, in full compliance with CMB and MKK regulations.

  • This process does not affect your trading experience or your OKX TR account in any way.

If you need further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best regards,

OKX TR Team
