Two weeks ago, I got to take Pengu around NYC for Accelerate with the legends @DaoJonez and @sauciii__, and it fired me up again.
If you work in Web3, you know seeing the behind-the-scenes stuff can make the whole space feel less fun. But this week? It brought the fun back hard.
Dragging Pengu to all the side events was cool, thereâs a lot of people publicly and privately rooting for us, but the real kicker was seeing people who donât care about crypto go nuts for him.
Kids were obsessed with Pengu, adults too. We got swarmed in Times Square just handing out plushies.
It hit me that they werenât snapping pics because they held Pengu or an NFT, they just loved the Penguin. Thatâs exactly why I got into this community in the first place.
Itâs never been clearer: $PENGU and Pudgy Penguins are inevitable.
People love the Penguin.
