$BTC Bitcoin Pulls Back to $65,668, Down 1% in 24 Hours! BoJ Rate Hike + Iran-Israel Ceasefire in Focus
The Bank of Japan just raised interest rates to 1%, the highest in 30 years — theoretically a headwind for risk assets. But Bitcoin hasn't crashed, as the weekend Iran-Israel ceasefire deal triggered a "relief rally" that offset the impact, keeping the market afloat above $65K.
However, Wintermute issued a warning: this rebound lacks fresh capital inflows. If ETF demand doesn't pick up, this could be a "trap." Over the past 24 hours, total liquidations reached $420 million globally, with both longs and shorts getting squeezed — futures traders are once again fueling the volatility.
Key levels to watch now: can BTC hold the $65,000 support, and can it break through the $69,000–$70,000 resistance zone? Best to stay on the sidelines for now — don't go all in.
