The double standard here is insane: "Max theoretical TPS" is measured consistently across most chains
Including BTC, ETH, SOL & SUI. Ironically, even one of DB's favorites, EGLD, measures TPS this way in their testing!

Yes, a standard NATIVE SOL tx costs ~450 CU while sending any other token costs 3000-5000 CU
The majority of token transfers are NOT SOL!
DeFi txs cost MUCH MUCH more than that
